Youth Group
WESTY (Worcester Emanuel Sinai Temple Youth) is made up of 8-12th graders from Temple Sinai and Temple Emanuel. Ellen Kapiloff serves as this year’s WESTY advisor. Activities are planned by the teens themselves, and include social action projects and social events. Regional activities are open to 9-12th graders.
Contact the temple office for information about joining the group.
Evelyn Zarrow Choir
Evelyn Zarrow and her husband, Harry, were founding members of Temple Sinai. Evelyn loved to sing and lent her beautiful, alto voice to the choir as an enthusiastic member from its inception under her death, at age 86, in 2003.
This volunteer group meets periodically throughout the year on Monday nights to rehearse, and contributes their talent to enhance about a half dozen Shabbat worship services and the High Holy Days. Repertoire includes classic and contemporary liturgical compositions. The choir is open to all. Ability to read music is a plus, but not required.

Friday Night Live Combo
Several Shabbat services during the year feature upbeat, contemporary music presented by a band composed primarily of Temple Sinai teen and adult members.
They also participated in the Consecration service on Simchat Torah in October.
