Rabbi Scott B. Saulson, PhD, Interim Rabbi
Rabbi Scott Saulson, PhD, is blessed to serve as a interim rabbi. Ordained, 1976, at Hebrew Union College, he has served as educator and spiritual leader overseas as well as in his native USA. In addition, he is a certified and practicing Family & Caregiving Mediator. During his “off” time, he enjoys squash, biking, and horseback riding. rabbi@templesinaiworcester.org
Rabbi Seth L. Bernstein, Rabbi Emeritus
Rabbi Bernstein served as spiritual leader of this congregation and worked with Worcester Interfaith issues and chaplaincy at area hospitals from 1986 through June 2011. He was voted the title of Rabbi Emeritus at the time of his retirement.
Cantor Kim Singer, RJE, Cantor
Cantor Kim Singer, RJE, came to Temple Sinai in 2008 after nearly 20 years as a Cantorial Soloist and Jewish Educator. She received ordination and MJEd from Hebrew College in 2009. A composer and puppeteer, she will cheerfully talk your ear off about co-housing, roller coasters, or Disney World. cantor@templesinaiworcester.org
Wendy Wong, Religious School Director
Wendy Davis Wong has been our Religious School Director since 1999. Wendy taught Hebrew and Jewish Studies at a variety of synagogue schools in Massachusetts and Connecticut. In 1991, she began teaching here and found her home! Wendy holds a BS in Education from Lesley College. She is married to Randy, and they have two sons, Jeff and Greg. school@templesinaiworcester.org
Randy Widing, Caretaker
Randy Widing has been associated with Temple Sinai for 20 years, and affectionately sees to the upkeep of our property and buildings and the safety of all who enter our premises. In addition, he is the go-to man for activity set-ups. He is married to Amy Beth; together they have a sparkling daughter, Emma. Randy loves the outdoors, in general, and skiing, in particular.
June Willey, Office Administrator
June Willey has been with Temple Sinai since 1992. She handles a multitude of tasks for congregants, board, and staff, including maintaining our financial and membership records. June & her husband have 4 children and several grandchildren. In her spare time June enjoys scrap-booking and spending time with her family. office@templesinaiworcester.org
Christa Benoit, Office Assistant
Christa Benoit lives in Holden with her husband, Matt, and their three children. She graduated from Dean College in Franklin, MA, with an AA in Office Administration and from Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI, with a BA in Business Management. She worked at Allmerica Financial(now Hanover Insurance) as an administrative assistant for seven years. In 2008, she joined our staff.
